Ben Gertner is a singer-songwriter based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
His songs are narrative driven, and each is an emotional journey that shape-shifts across multiple musical styles. He lets the lyrics shape what the song needs to be, which constantly allows for genre-bending. Ben’s writing pulls from fragments of his life and weaves these pieces together to create a layered story that lives within each song.
Ben released his debut album The Room Looked Like a View in 2023, along with a companion poetry book, Rooms/Views, in 2024.
